Attorney William Lazarus’ career has traversed both journalism and law. A graduate of the University of Chicago, he worked for 24 years as an investigative reporter at daily newspapers, including the Miami Herald and the Times of Northwest Indiana. His stories won more than 30 top awards conferred by state and regional press associations, as well as two national prizes.
Following his graduation from the University of Chicago School of Law, William Lazarus worked for the prominent downtown Chicago Loop law firms of Reuben & Proctor (later merged with Isham, Lincoln & Beale), and then Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg. He moved on to practice for five years with a highly successful Indiana-based personal injury plaintiff’s firm, before starting his own Illinois law firm in 2009. Lazarus has a passion for persuasive writing, discovering truth, and presenting facts in a way that can achieve justice in the wake of personal tragedy.
